Grundy EMS Won the 2015 Star of Life Award

Grundy EMS was awarded the 2015 Star of Life award for a rescue involving Beersheba Springs Fire & Rescue, Mountain Central E911 Dispatch Center and AirEvac Lifeteamm 44 in which a patient suffering from a "heart attack" was rescued from a steep gulf, given life saving aid, and transported to a Cardiac Care Unit.
Grundy EMS is Expanding

Grundy EMS has added two new ambulances to their existing fleet of ten. Additionally, the service has expanded its Sewanee Station, more than doubling its original size.
World Class Personnel
All of our EMTs are trained as Advanced EMTs and our Paramedics are trained and authorized to use advanced procedures such as Rapid Sequence Intubation, as well as the skill set authorized by Advanced Cardiac Life Support training. All personnel receive free Continuing Education Units to ensure that they are trained on the latest procedures and equipment. Finally, all EMTs and Paramedics have been selected from a highly competitive and highly qualified pool of candidates to guarantee the greatest administration of healthcare.
